A FEW OF THERESA’S CLIENTS…
Texas-based Theresa Behenna is an award winning motivational keynote speaker, internationally acclaimed pianist, recording artist, emcee, small business owner and a total tennis nut.
Laid off from an office job during a recession in her native Australia, Theresa began playing piano anywhere that would hire her defying all odds of making a living from music – especially without vocals (they paid her NOT to sing!) She was not only successful Down Under, but eventually toured the world on a piano bench armed with a positive attitude, a passion for performance and thirty-one evening dresses appearing before celebrities such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Princess Grace, ‘James Bond’ and Elton John.
After moving to Houston, Theresa continued to delight audiences with her outstanding musical talent and quickly became one of the top entertainers in popular demand by hotels, clubs and event planners. In 2006 the city celebrated when she won the audition for Coca Cola to perform at the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.
As a motivational speaker since 1998, Theresa has inspired thousands of people in corporations & associations throughout the United States demonstrating mastery of the piano as parallel principles for business and personal success. Having traveled the world as an entertainer & small business owner, Theresa’s experience in communicating with different cultures and adapting to changing markets gives her the distinct ability to combine relevant content with dynamic entertainment resulting in an unforgettable event. She has shared the speaking platform with the likes of leadership expert John Maxwell & actress Carol Channing and is a popular keynote speaker at conferences and meetings.
As a professional member of the National Speakers Association, Theresa won the John Wolfe Award for speaking excellence in 2007 and served on the board for many years.
She has recorded a best-selling piano CD “Songs for Friends” that features classic hits from the 40’s and up, 70’s rock, Broadway music & movie themes.
Theresa resides in Houston where she is a pianist for special events, plays tons of tennis and has yet to sound like a native Texan ‘coz she’s busy putting another shrimp on the Barbie. [/full_width]
